New artworks inspired by colours curated into vibrant fragmented landscapes and still life paintings. Experiments in optical colour and celebrating the full colour spectrum.
This collection of artworks is an expressive celebration of the Australian environment through colour and shape. From the sun drenched country hues out to the coastal crevices, Ballard immerses you in a sense of ‘place’ from the inside out. You can soak up the sun and bathe in the sea, as you twist and turn through her ‘Fragmented’ landscapes.
Her still life subjects are in themselves a curation of collected items. They gain a second life through her compositions. In her ‘Wildflower Florals’ those abandoned twigs, home grown blooms and bouquets by the roadside, take centre stage direct from her very own studio.
