An original artwork is a unique creation and the result of years of dedicated art practice. I put my heart and soul into every brushstroke of my art work. Colour is the driving force behind the style I call ‘Fragmatism’.
I am inspired by the atmospheric dance of colour and light in natural spaces. Be it a landscape or a still life subject, the atmosphere created can have many moods. There is a transient energy that vibrates throughout these spaces and this is what I endeavour to capture to canvas. Colour is my muse. This is what I am always chasing. I have chased its many moods around the globe and endeavour to catch it on the canvas.
This quest to capture colour is how my style ‘Fragmatism’ was born. It is the way I celebrate colour in the natural environment. Be it an oceanscape or a quiet little still life, it is the language I use to capture magic moments. Through deconstructed shape and reconstructed colour I want to emerse you in the glory of colour. I want to show you how beautiful and uplifting it can be. I want to take you on a magical journey through the rainbow into my world of Fragmatism – where you can float through a dreamscape of colour love.
