Description
‘Good fellow gums’ is an expressive oil painting inspired by the light and colour of a morning walk. Painted in the ‘Fragmatism’ style of deconstructed shape and reconstructed colour.
Little landscapes, fractured by light. I turned a bend along the Cooks River and the world rearranged itself in gold. River gums dissolved into planes of warmth and cool — bark vibrating against luminous greens.
This is Fragmatism. Where light deconstructs the ordinary and colour rebuilds it radiant.
